Some analysis as a Packers fan and Reed owner for fellow Reed owners. Watson and Doubs got the nod over Reed in 2WR sets vs the Bears which is horrendous for his value and his ROS outlook. Still there’s hope. In games vs. bad run defenses this has been the case this year (Week’s 2, 6, 8, and 11). But in games vs. GOOD run defenses (Week’s 1, 4, and 9) his snap% spikes and his overall usage goes up. Vikings, Lions, and Eagles are all top 8 rush defenses. The 49ers are also in the top 8 for run defense so I expect the Packers to throw the ball more, run more 3WR sets, and incorporate Reed more as the past has shown. Furthermore, Reed is top 15 in yards after catch which is something the 49ers have struggled with on defense this season, adding to the positive outlook this week for Reed. I know some might think this is yap so my overall message is start him this week if you’re on the fence. Good potential for a boom game.
